We offer online appointments (telemedicine) only. Telemedicine simplifies connecting with your provider, offering convenient, remote care in the comfort of your home. It shortens check-in and waiting times, enhancing your healthcare experience and fostering a strong doctor-patient relationship.

Medication Management
Initial Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation Appointment
At the first visit, our Child Psychiatrist will discuss the reasons for seeking treatment and review your child's medical, developmental, psychiatric, family, and psychosocial history. A comprehensive treatment plan will be created, including medications, psychotherapy, and social/environmental adjustments as needed. Follow-up appointments will be scheduled based on your child's needs. The child's legal guardian or authorized person must be present for the appointment.
Fees: One-time fee of $450 (ages 3 to 11) or $500 (ages 12+). Family members get a 10% discount.​

Follow-up Medication Management Appointment
Each follow-up visit focuses on delivering optimal treatment for your child, including necessary adjustments to medication and supportive psychotherapy.
Fees: $165 per visit. Family members get a 10% discount.​

Medication Management with Psychotherapy Appointment
This dual-purpose appointment includes medication management, with adjustments made as needed, and targeted psychotherapy for the parent and/or child to address specific aspects of the child's condition.
Fees: $225 per visit. Family members get a 10% discount.​​
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy, also known as talk therapy, is a proven method for helping children and parents with various emotional and psychological challenges. It improves daily functioning and enhances the child's quality of life. Our therapies include supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational enhancement therapy (MET), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and more. When necessary, psychotherapy is combined with medication management.
Fees: Initial Appointment: $350; Follow-up sessions: $150 per session​
Computerized Cognitive Assessments
We offer cognitive assessments for our patients, utilizing computerized tools to evaluate memory, attention, reasoning, and other cognitive abilities. These assessments help identify your child's strengths and weaknesses, pinpoint areas of struggle such as learning or executive functioning difficulties, and allow us to tailor a treatment plan to their specific needs and goals. Cognitive assessments complement clinical evaluations and can be conducted periodically to fine-tune treatment. This service is available exclusively to SunRise patients referred by their SunRise providers.
Fees: Initial Testing: $300; Follow-up Testing: $150

Gaming and Electronics Addiction
Electronics are a part of everyday life, but some children struggle to control their electronic gaming, leading to emotional, behavioral, and social development problems. Excessive and compulsive use of electronics in these children can result in issues similar to those seen in adults with substance use addictions. Early recognition and intervention can prevent these problems from derailing a child's life. SunRise offers assessment and ongoing treatment for pediatric electronic gaming addictions, promoting balanced and healthy electronics use in vulnerable children. (Note: This does NOT include addiction to social media or inappropriate websites.)
Fees:
Initial Appointment: $500
Follow-Up Appointment (includes psychiatric medication management and behavior management around electronics): $250​
Direct Pay Model
To provide you and your child with the highest quality of personalized service, we use the Direct Pay Model. This model ensures direct access to Dr. Otite, who offers both medication management and psychotherapy to support your child's treatment and development.

Please note that we do NOT accept insurance payments. Patients are responsible for all fees and are expected to make payment at the start of each appointment by credit/debit card or check. If you plan to request reimbursement from your insurance company, please check with them in advance to see if your visits at SunRise Child Psychiatry Clinic will be covered. Reimbursement rates from insurance providers vary widely, ranging from 30% to 70% of the appointment cost.
