Meet Our Provider | Dr. Edore Onigu-Otite (“Dr. Otite”)

Triple-Board-Certified Child, Adolescent, Addiction & General Adult Psychiatrist
Dr. Onigu-Otite (“Dr. Otite”) received her medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She completed her General Psychiatry residency and a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, followed by an Addiction Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Dr. Otite began her academic career as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University, where she also served as Medical Director of the Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. In July 2014, she joined the faculty at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she is now a Full Professor and dedicated medical educator, committed to advancing the field of child and adolescent mental health and addiction science through clinical innovation, teaching, research, and mentorship.
