We provide the following services
Medication Management
Medication management is a critical component of treating mental health symptoms. During this dedicated appointment, you or your child’s provider will gather relevant physical and mental health information, review previous diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes, and collaborate with other medical or mental health professionals.
At SunRise, we emphasize a collaborative approach where you and your provider work together to select the most effective medications and complementary therapies. The impact of these treatments is carefully monitored through regular follow-up appointments to address any new problems or concerns.
Computerized Cognitive Assessements
At SunRise, we are excited to introduce computerized cognitive assessments for our patients during their treatment journey. While these assessments are not diagnostic, they complement clinical evaluations by exploring cognitive domains such as attention, memory, and information processing.

Understanding a patient's cognitive strengths and challenges helps identify specific difficulties impacting their thinking, learning, and organizational skills. These assessments are particularly useful for refining treatment plans, including medication management, by providing targeted insights for precise adjustments. Please note that cognitive assessments are exclusively available to SunRise patients upon referral from their provider(s) here at SunRise.
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy uses talk therapy and various skills-building activities to increase awareness, address challenges, and develop coping strategies for mental illness. While effective on its own, psychotherapy is often combined with medication for a comprehensive approach, leading to more robust outcomes. Additionally, psychotherapy supports the promotion of healthy lifestyles.

At SunRise, we offer a range of therapeutic modalities, including supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational enhancement therapy (MET), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). These therapies are tailored to help individuals make positive lifestyle changes and engage in age-appropriate peer activities, enhancing their overall quality of life.
Parent Support and Training
Supporting parents of children with mental health conditions is a crucial but often overlooked aspect of comprehensive care.

At SunRise, we recognize the importance of parental involvement and provide support, psychoeducation, and training during each appointment. Our approach equips parents with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively manage their child's needs in various aspects of life. Additionally, we offer parent-only sessions as needed, providing in-depth training and support tailored to parents' unique challenges.
Problematic Gaming and Electronics Addiction
In today's world, electronics play a vital role in education, communication, peer interaction, and supervision. While many children use electronics and gaming healthily, some develop unhealthy habits or even addictions, which can disrupt their physical, emotional, and social development.
At SunRise, our providers are uniquely qualified with expertise in both child development and addiction treatment. We use behavior management techniques, motivational enhancement therapy, and, when necessary, medication management to create effective treatment strategies for children struggling with problematic electronic use and gaming disorders.
