Specialized Care for Young Minds
Helping Children, Teens, and Families Heal, Grow, and Thrive!

Do you take insurance?
We are a direct-pay (self-pay) practice and do not bill insurance directly. However, we’ll provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes! We provide secure, HIPAA-compliant video visits for children, teens, and families anywhere in Texas and Maryland.
How soon can we be seen?
New patients are typically scheduled within 2–4 weeks of requesting an appointment. We do our best to offer timely access to care for families in need.
What ages do you treat?
We work with children, adolescents, and young adults, and can also provide parent sessions when requested to support family well-being and continuity of care.
What conditions do you treat?
Our clinic provides care for a broad range of concerns, including:
ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep problems, gaming or electronics overuse, addiction, and other behavioral or emotional challenges affecting children and teens.
Why does SunRise Clinic use a self-pay model?
Our self-pay model allows us to focus entirely on your care—without insurance restrictions. It offers flexibility in scheduling and treatment planning, as well as the time and attention each family deserves.
What are the benefits of self-pay care?
You receive private, confidential, and uninterrupted care, along with direct access to your provider through your secure patient portal for questions and follow-up needs.
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of your appointment.
Can I get reimbursed by my insurance?
Yes. For each appointment, we provide a superbill—a detailed receipt that includes all the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, based on your plan’s benefits.
